The Board of Directors has approved the addition of Barbara Ann Bernard as Managing Director of Communications and Ariel F. Babcock, CFA as Director of Investor Relations. With over 20 years of combined investment industry and financial analysis experience, Ms. Bernard and Ms. Babcock bring a welcome level of expertise to the newly created Investor Relations team. Based in the Company's Waltham headquarters, Ms. Babcock will lead the day-to-day investor relations and media efforts of the Company while Ms. Bernard will focus on broader strategic development initiatives.

Barbara Ann Bernard is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Wincrest Capital Ltd., a Bahamas based boutique asset management firm.  Prior to this, she was an equity research analyst at Holowesko Partners, a Global Long Short Equity Fund, for almost a decade.  Her past experience includes roles in the Alternative Asset Management and Investment Banking Divisions of Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs in London.  Ms. Bernard holds a B.Sc. in Economic History and Demographics from the London School of Economics and serves on the Board of Grand Bay Paper and Care Products, the largest private paper products manufacturer in Latin America. 

Having spent over ten years in investment management and analysis, Ariel F. Babcock is experienced in marketing, client relationship management, compliance, and reporting to various stakeholders. Ms. Babcock began her career in the investment industry as a trader at a hedge fund and then moved on to be an analyst covering the Consumer and Industrials sectors and a mutual fund portfolio manager. She most recently served as Vice President and co-Portfolio Manager of the Value strategies at Calamos Investments, a global asset management firm based outside Chicago, IL. Ms. Babcock holds a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Tufts University and is a CFA^® charterholder.
