(NASDAQ: TGEN) today announced the sale of a CM-75 combined heat and power (CHP) system to a large, regional high school located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. The Tecogen CHP system will supply 75 kW of electricity to the facility, while simultaneously providing space heat, domestic hot water and pool heating at a far lower cost than the conventional alternative of utility-purchased electricity. 

The sale, through a regional office of a multi-national Energy Services Company (ESCO), is part of a comprehensive energy savings project for the school district.
