(NASDAQ: TGEN), provider of clean energy products which, through patented technology, nearly eliminate criteria pollutants and significantly reduce a customer's carbon footprint, today announced the sale of two (2) Tecochill RT Series 50-ton air-cooled chillers to Gas Natural Fenosa, Mexico.

Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, Gas Natural supplies natural gas and electricity to more than 23 million customers across Spain, Europe, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Moldova and Morocco. The Tecochill chillers will cool Gas Natural Fenosa's Mexico City corporate offices and were sold through Tecogen's representative, HVAC Ambiental, S. de R.L. de C.V.

Speaking about the sale, Arturo Cantu, General Manager of HVAC Ambiental noted, "Gas Natural Fenosa has a strong commitment to innovation as a means of generating a reliable and sustainable energy supply. The selection of Tecochill chillers for their office space is an excellent solution that will both save money while also aligning with their corporate mission. Our chillers are being installed as part of a major building renovation that includes a green roof as well as other energy saving features." Slated for rooftop installation, the air-cooled Tecochill chillers were a natural choice for the building as water supply is limited in the area and a cooling tower would interfere with the planned green roof.
