Northeastern University President Joseph Aoun Joins Tecogen Board of Directors
WALTHAM, Mass., May 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tecogen Inc., the leading manufacturer of advanced modular Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, today announced that Joseph E. Aoun, Ph.D., President of Northeastern University has joined its Board of Directors.
President Aoun, the seventh president of Northeastern University, is an internationally recognized scholar and outspoken champion of higher education. During his presidency, he has expanded Northeastern's signature co-op program by making it global and by adding flexibility to ensure that all Northeastern undergraduates benefit from experiential education. President Aoun has also sharpened the University's research agenda by focusing on the global imperatives of health, security and sustainability.
